Das Titelbl. leicht stockfleckig, der Rest des Buches sauber und breitrandig. Schönes Exemplar. Der bemerkenswerteste Teil der Erzählung ist zweifelsohne Blighs Bericht über die Reise in der 23-Fuß-Barkasse der Bounty. Seine Leistung, ein offenes Schiff mit 19 Männern über eine Distanz von 4.000 Meilen ohne ernsthafte Pannen sicher zu navigieren, ist in der Geschichte der Hochseereisen nahezu beispiellos.
